We had a special mystery reader today! Mr. A read The Interrupting Chicken and brought special sound effects as well!
One of my former students (who is now 2nd grader) wrote us a letter - trying to persuade us to read the book "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs". Well, she sure persuaded us! It was a good thing that she brought the book along with her so she could read it to us. :) She was a great example of reading with expression and thinking about our reading.

Pennies for Patients Spirit Week!
*Monday, February 3 - Donate pennies for PJ Day
*Tuesday, February 4 - Cherry Tree Spirit Day
*Wednesday, February 5 -Donate dimes and wear Disney
*Thursday, February 6 - Donate nickels and wear your favorite team items
*Friday, February 7 - Wear orange to celebrate the conclusion of our Pennies for Patients
Turn in all of the money you’ve collected.
*Everyone may participate in the Spirit Days
whether money is donated on that day or not!
Valentine's Day Party Reminder
Please remember that in support of school policy, no candy or food is to be brought to the parties, other than the food provided by the PTO. However, students are allowed to attach stickers, tattoos, pencils, etc. to their Valentine’s Day cards. We will celebrate on Friday, February 14th.
